Description
Shim strips are used for "fine tuning" the thickness of your bearer bars. They are significantly thinner than bearer bars and are stacked on top to achieve the exact thickness needed. For example, if you needed a total bearer thickness of .265" you could use .250" bearer bars with a .015" shim strip on top of each bar. Sold in sets of four or complete sets containing four of each thickness. 8", 12", 15" and 18" lengths or supplied to your specifications.
