Leads & Slugs

The term "leads" refers to 2 point thick lead spacing bars that are usually set between lines of type in the chase. "Slugs" are either 6 point or 12 point lead spacing bars usually set between individual stamps or lines of type if the customer has requested extra spacing between lines in the copy. Our assortments consist of twelve 2 point leads, four 6 point slugs and three 12 point slugs.
